About the Author

Michael Pry began his journey into the world of photography in 1969 at the age of 12 with a beat up 35mm camera and a makeshift darkroom in the corner of his parent�s root cellar. At age 13, he was invited to photograph Muhamhad Ali ringside. So begins Mike�s thirty five year love affair with the photographic image.

Mike�s photographic style has resulted not from formal study, but rather a self directed, lifelong immersion into the works of great master photographers. This solid foundation, combined with a unique process in which Mike becomes a participant, rather than a conductor in each photograph, makes for a perfect fit with the people in Harley Nation.
