About the Author

Author Mark Varnum, OD., is a lifelong resident of Maine. He lives on a 150 year-old farm in the central part of the state and practices primary eye care in the community of which he resides. In his free time enjoys all outdoor sports including canoeing, skiing and camping, but favors his horses and sporting dogs over all others.
