SIGNED, Chief Dan George, Happy birthday to the half-title with 1975 written to the top corner. Like new and appears unread. The interior is clean and unmarked. Publisher’s red cloth boards are sharp and unblemished. My Heart Soars blindstamped to the front board which shows a hint of a bow. Bright gilt titles to spine. Unclipped dustjacket is gently bumped to extremities. Three 2.5cm tears or less to the top edge along with some small nicks. Light soiling and rubbing to show. Faint band of sunning to top edge of the front wrap. Now protected in archival brodart jacket and presents nicely. Chief Dan George’s magnificent portrayal of Old Lodge Skins in the film Little Big Man earned him an Academy Award nomination. He was a dedicated advocate and leader for his people and loved by all Canadians. Extremely scarce signed Canadian edition.
