About the Author

Ruth Doan MacDougall was born and grew up in New Hampshire, where she now lives with her husband, Don. She is the author of 14 other novels, including The Cheerleader, a national best-seller and the first title in a series of five books, grouped as The Snowy Series. (Henrietta Snow is the third title in that series.) She is also the co-author with her father of 50 Hikes in the White Mountains and 50 More Hikes in New Hampshire.
