1895 hardcover second edition, revised printed one year after the first. Author signed on frt pastedown, 'Yours very sincerely C. Morley Knight' with former owner name on opposite fep. Good solid working copy with bumped/rubbed tips and spine ends, several small splits in the rust colored cloth along spine edges and an ink drip on rear cover. Book now fitted with a removable clear acetate wrapper to keep it in good shape going forward. Foxing within, esp endpapers, few spine cracks but all pages holding fine. 212pp illustrated with 40 b/w photographs and line drawings clearly convey the concepts herein.
