Signed poster produced to coincide with the release of the hip-hop photobook Born in the Bronx by Joe Conzo and Johan Kugelberg. This map was produced by Conzo and Tony Tone and points out venues, schools, motels, homes, and early hip-hop hangout spots using the 1972 MTA subway map. An excellent project in alternative geography from the inimitable photographer Joe Conzo and rapper Tony Tone, signed by three legends of Bronx hip hop: late flyer king Buddy Esquire, DJ and inventor of the scratch Grand Wizzard Theodore & Conzo himself.
