An extremely scarce, signed and inscribed copy of Castro's History Will Absolve Me. Inscribed in Spanish, "For Mario Mencia, for your great interest and studies in the subject, and with revolutionary embrace, my regards, Fidel Castro". Mencia was a historian of the Cuban Revolution who wrote favorably about Castro. A wonderful and scarce association copy. Book is about good condition, showing many of the issues that books store poorly in the Caribbean tend to. There is bumping, damage from humidity and transfer from the slipcover to the boards, first several pages are adhered to front pastedown, tape repairs are present in multiple spots.
