Pale grey linen with paper spine labels lettered in black and red, paper-covered slipcase with paper spine label. xvii, 362pp; pp. 363-782. Color illustrations. Near fine/very good. Both spines faintly tanned; bookplate on each front pastedown; minor expert archival mends to tight and nice slipcase. Handsome set of the LEC's second publication of this 1749 classic, the 12th volume in their 20th series; in 1931 it was the 1st title in their 3rd series. Colophon at rear notes limitation of 1500 copies (this #302), beautifully signed by Cleland. NEWMAN 220.
