25×17,7 cm. Italian; German, softcover, unpaginated. Exhibition catalogue published in conjunction with the first duo show by Isa Genzken and Gerhard Richter, who were married just the year before. An overall intimate feel about the publication produced only in 500 copies as stated on colophon. This particular copy was gifted by Genzken to a close personal contact and inscibed jokingly (?) on title page ‘mein letztes Exemplar – geliehen’ [my last copy – borrowed]. An excellent small book capturing an interesting moment in German 1980s art with two different yet equally important voices working close together. Rare – much more so inscribed.
