An inscribed copy of the second edition of this children's book that includes two color full page illustrations by Arthur Rackham. Inscribed by Julia Ellsworth Ford, a prominent socialite and arts patron as well as author of children's books, on the second front endpaper. Blue cloth, 178 pages. The covers have edgewear and there are several tears in the cloth on the back edge of the spine. There is a previous owner bookplate on the first endpaper. There is foxing at the edges and significant foxing on the borders of both of the Rackham illustrations. Seller Inventory # 004413
