10 x 8 inches, no place, no date, circa 1985 -- a 3/4 image of Downing wearing a cowboy hat with his hands accentuating his trademark BAD belt buckle. Inscribed: "To Ed, Thanks for a really great time. You are a super guy. You made me feel just like 'Home Folk.' Thanks always Big Al Downing." Outstanding contrast and a joyful image. Very good condition. African-American singer, songwriter, and pianist who received Billboard Magazine's New Artist of the Year and Single of the Year award in 1979. He was inducted into the Rockabilly and Country Music Hall of Fame and was a frequent performer at the Grand Ole Opry. Seller Inventory # 222885
