Ranger has spent his life hunting Datsoes, creatures believed to be mindless monsters spreading darkness across the land. When he captures one for execution, the mission should be simple.
Until the creature saves his life.
Isle has been forgotten, hunted, caged - his humanity slipping away with every passing year. Branded as a monster and incapable of speech, he may be the key to uncovering a truth buried for centuries.
As ancient forces awaken, two enemies must decide whether to trust each other... or let the darkness consume them both.
An epic medieval fantasy of action, sacrifice, and the fight to remain human.
