A COPY MADE BY BARRY GOLDWATER FOR HIS LONG TIME FRIEND ROBERT C. EULER OF HIS OWN "A JOURNEY DOWN THE GREEN AND COLORADO RIVERS". Published by H. Walker Publishing Co., 1940, Limited to 300 numbered copies. This being a copy of Barry's own personal copy made on a copy machine or mimeograph machine. It is inscribed on the cover " TO BOB EULER WITH THANKS FOR HIS CONTRIBUTIONS TO "OUR RIVER" (signed) BARRY GOLDWATER" 106 pages, plus a 13 page appendix by Emery Kolb. Kolb mentioning other previous river runners especially James White in 1867 and the Hydes in 1928. Robert Euler was also very interested in the James White controversy and wrote about it. This copy is housed in an old fashion heavy, stiff, office binder with a metal clamp to hold contents. also inside is a large handsome Robert C. Euler book plate. Euler was the Grand Canyon's official park archeologist, also an author. This item came from Euler's personal library in Prescott, Arizona after his death. Prescott, AZ.
