SIGNED - Larger Octavo - NF/NF - Black buckram covered boards and spine with shiny red foil lettering on both the spine and the front board. Book has a nearly unnoticeable bump at the head of the spine. Black endpapers. Signed by the author on a limitation page in the front of the book in black pen. "This copy of Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files: War Cry Hardcover is autographed by Jim Butcher and is limited to 2000 copies of which this is number 1226." Binding is straight and tight. Pages are all clean, white, and sharp. Graphic novel filled with colorful artwork by Carlos Gomez (pencils) and Mohan (color). Unpaginated. Dust Jacket - has a trace of rubbing at the tips of the two upper outside corners - jacket otherwise clean, bright, and sharp. Nice copy, uncommon with Butcher's signature.

- "The greatest frustration about writing the Dresden Files is all the stories I come up with that are too small or too straightforward to write into a novel. One of the great pleasures I've had as a writer is getting the opportunity to tell some of those stories in a short-story format, and in graphic novels like this one! War Cry is one of the stories I always wanted to tell but never got the chance to in the context of the novels, and I'm extremely pleased with how well it's coming out."
