Colour frontis. B/w plates and text illustrations. 474 pages. Bumped and rubbed extremities, short splits at head and base of spine, surface markings to front and rear boards, light soiling and foxing to fore edge and top and bottom edges. Internally, the tissue guard is creased and the lower 2" has separated from the binding, occasional light foxing/soiling to page margins, binding somewhat loose but secure, pp. 193, 195 are 3mm. short on lower edge, binding visible at gutter of pp. 64-65, plus evidence of previous repair,the plate opp. p.213 has wear to edges, plus 2cm.x1cm. area of surface damage, probably from the white coloured material adhering to facing page and partially obscuring the word"funny", occasional light spots/soiling to pages A Good copy.
