A pocket-sized abridgment of Johnson's Dictionary, from the 14th London edition. Styled the second American edition - there were identically titled editions printed in Boston in 1804 and 1806, while the first unabridged American edition was not published until 1818. Shaw & Shoemaker, 10643; not in Fleeman. OCLC locates 2 copies; not in AAS Modern blue buckram, preserving old red morocco lettering piece.
