See photos for condition details. Hardcovers, two-volume matched set with volume 1 showing this is a numbered edition (no. 1538) and has also been inscribed and signed by the author. Exterior shows some spotting and scuffing along with edge and corner bumps. The cloth on the corners are still intact and volume 2 has an additional edge bump just over 3 inches down on the right side, front board. Internal bindings are good and text pages are tight. There is no other handwriting or signatures other than that from the author, no bookplates, no library markings, nothing torn or loose. Text pages are clean though all the pastedowns and opposite end pages do show foxing spots and there are also some smudge fingerprint marks. Please note: this is a large and heavy set.
