Inscribed copy of this classic portrait of President John F. Kennedy by his close adviser and wordsmith, Ted Sorensen. Inscribed by Ted Sorensen to a previous owner on the half title page. Red cloth, 783 pages. An early printing with an I-P date code indicating September 1965, the month of publication, but lacking a First Edition statement. The book has a bit of tanning on the page edges. The dust jacket has a bit of edge wear and a bit of rubbing on the back cover.
