Hardcover with DJ. Tan paper over boards with maroon cloth over spine. Red DJ with gold lettering and photograph of Bing on front cover. Title page not dated. Copyright page dated 1981. 287 pages. In very good condition. DJ is glossy and clean; just a small bit of shelf-wear at head and foot of spine. Covers are a bit faded, mostly along edges. Otherwise clean and unmarked. Signed and inscribed ("To Stan Stirman") on the half-title page by author Rudolf Bing. Pages free of marks or tears. Black and white photographs from Bing's years at the Met, with numerous opera stars throughout. A very good copy that has been inscribed by the famous General Manager of the Met.

Regular shipping by USPS Media Mail is $4. MEDIA MAIL SHIPPING DOES NOT INCLUDE TRACKING.
If you'd like tracking, please let us know before you place the order - We're happy to do it but it costs $1 extra because it means we have to print a shipping label for it individually, slowing down the shipping process considerably -- and we want to be able to keep basic shipping costs as low as we can.
