Aus: William Clarkson Stanfield, Travelling sketches on the Rhine, and in Belgium and Holland (London: Longman 1833). Papier leicht gebräunt. Sonst guter Zustand.Edward Paxman Brandard (1819 Birmingham - 1898 London). Englischer Stahl- und Kupferstecher. Arbeitete zusammen mit seinem älteren bruder Robert Brandard in Islington, London. Lieferte 1853-87 zahlreiche Platten für das Art Journal.Clarkson Stanfield (1793 Sunderland - 1867 London). Eigentlich Clarkson Frederick Stanfield, oft auch William Clarkson Stanfield. Britischer Maler und Illustrator. Anfänglich Lehrling eines Wappenmalers. Darauf mehrere Jahre im Dienste der Königlichen Marine. Wandte sich ab 1818 der Bühnen-, Marine- und Landschaftsmalerei zu. War zusammmen mit David Roberts in Edinburgh und London tätig. Bediente ab 1820 alljährlich die Ausstellungen der Royal Academy. 1824 Gründungsmitglied der Royal Society of British Artists. Unternahm mehrfach Studienreisen nach Italien, Frankreich, die Niederlande und Spanien. Ab 1835 Mitglied der der Royal Academy. Rechts unten signiert: Engraved by R. Brandard.
