Second edition (as stated upon copyright page; originally published 1991) SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. xii, 644 pages. Hardcover: H 23.5cm x L 15.5cm. Dust jacket lightly rubbed with slight bumping to edges; mild sunning to spine with short tear at head (tape repair to verso). Dark brown cloth; spine's gilt stamped lettering remains bright. Author's two-line ink inscription "Confederately, | H. Grady Howell, Jr." upon front flyleaf; interior leaves are otherwise bright and clean. Binding remains fairly crisp. A fine copy in a very good dust jacket.
