Jonathan Cape 1983 reprint. Signed and dated by Steadman, with a stylised and decorated "congratulations and good luck" in silver marker pen across the front endpapers. The free endpaper also has school prize bookplate. Jacket with original price in tact, with a tear to the top edge by the "I", with some creasing and marks to the inside. Green cloth covers with a little fading to the edges, with some bumps and creasing. Half title page is spotted, there are a number of pages where they have been partially stuck together, perhaps from being read with sticky fingers, most of these are a single or couple of small marks, but there are a few pages that have a fair amount of marks where the pages have been separated (see photos). Good minus overall. 30x17 cm.
