magazine. Two items: 1) A copy of Image: The Magazine of Northern California dated August 9, 1987 and signed by Pauling on the front cover. The signature is readable but rather faint. Magazine is in very good condition overall; this issue featured an interview with Pauling. 2) A handwritten 'Best wishes to Marie Kruger' note, inscribed & dated 12 May 1976 by Pauling. This appears to have been on a regular piece of paper, which was then cut down in size and pasted onto backing with overlay similar to what one would find in a photo or stamp album. The right side of the clear overlay has been taped at the edge. Seller Inventory # 58587
