Crested tit. An original mixed media study. The image measures approximately 155mm x 105mm (Landscape) plus a new acid free mount giving a total framed size of 300mm x 265mm. Gilt over red on wood frame, very good with a few rubbed areas. The painting is dated 1972 and signed by the artist. Condition is fine. Provenance - The moorland Gallery, Bond Street. [Biography - Michael Warren (born 1938, sometimes called Mike) is an English artist, known for painting birds. He has designed several series of commemorative postage stamps and book jackets, as well as publishing books of his own work. His works have also featured on the cover of the RSPB's Birds magazine. He is a member of the Society of Wildlife Artists and the Artists for Nature Foundation.] An additional �15 maybe requested to ship the painting within the UK.
