About the Author

Dick Squires, a former Olympic athlete and racquet sports maven, is the author of How To Play Platform Tennis and The Other Racquet Sports. His articles have appeared in many publications including Sports Illustrated, The New York Times and Country Living. He currently writes a monthly column "Across the Wires With Dick Squires" for Tennis Week and a biweekly column for The Darien News-Review.
