small 4to. quarter cloth, paper-covered boards. 43 pages. Privately printed in an edition of 1,000 copies by Douglas McMurtrie on Italian watermarked hand-made paper. This is a presentation copy from the Chemists's Club of New York, with a presentation card tipped-in along the front free endpaper. Minor wear to spine ends, else a fine copy. With McMurtrie's monogram on the delimitation page. Douglas McMurtrie is known not only for his writing contributions to the history of printing, but also to the collecting of texts on disability, particularly disabled veterans. A memorial to a great chemist. quarter cloth, paper-covered boards.
