Includes 6 green monochrome plates and numerous black and white illustrations. Light green full cloth binding with dark green printed title and illustration on front. Cover shows heavy wear: edge tanning, edgewear, foxing, scratches, and soiling. Back cover shows heavy waterstaining. Small dent to fore edge of back cover. Darkening to spine. Spine ends bumped and show heavy rubbing with fraying to head of spine. Corners lightly bumped with fraying and board exposure. All edges of textblock show age tanning, soiling, and spots of dampstaining. Tail edge shows pencil marks. Front and rear endpapers show age tanning, creases, scratches, and waterstains. Notes written in pencil by previous owner on front pastedown. Heavy crayon markings by previous owner on front pastedown with offsetting to front free endpaper. Front free endpaper is loose but still attached with open tears along gutter. Front free endpaper shows vertical crease that continues through to the rear pastedown. Heavy paste action to rear pastedowns with offsetting to rear free endpaper. Notes written in pencil by previous owner on rear endpapers: "1931 Valentines" and "1930 Valentines". Front hinge broken with webbing exposed. Rear hinge weak but intact. Binding loose in a few spots but otherwise sound. Textblock shows age tanning, creases, foxing, soiling, and waterstains throughout. Crayon marks by previous owner on page 52. All plates are present. 100 pages. 5-1/4 X 7-3/8.
