En attendant qu il fasse moins froid, Man Ray passe tout son temps chez lui, et non à son atelier. Il prévient Alice que l appartement sera prêt à temps pour l arrivée de son mari John, et évoque un voyage vers New-York par avion ou bateau :"We spend most of our time in the flat waiting for the temperature to rise so that I can go to work in my studio. Anyhow, the flat will be order for the arrival of John on the 17th. Don't know yet whether we go by boat or plane, not the date (end of the month probably) but in any case we can bring you the valise, using it for our own things. I'll see John when he arrives, to pick the one you want". Man Ray ajoute "All our love. It will be nice to see you in N.Y. You are on the list for the advance copy of my book, due soon".
