Kay Pickford who was a young London artist ,who began painting as a result of Sir Flint's encouragement of her early sketches and paintings. William Russell Flint's letters, held at National Libraries, communicate their mutual friendship and his support for the younger artist. Sound clean and tigh copy. 167 pages, 7 unnumbered leaves of plates : illustrations ; "The present volume follows the English version published in London in 1777" - introduction.
