When Jennifer Holt's ex-husband, a member of an extremist Muslim terrorist group, kidnaps their daughter and takes her to Algeria, Jennifer has no legal means to retrieve her. Readers of Betty Mahmoody's Not Without My Daughter (1987) are a potential audience of this book, where the bad guys are very bad and the good guys are very good.
