Headcap and foot of the spine are abraded with the cloth peeling back at the headcap. The edges of the binding are especially soiled or dust-stained. Inner hinges cracking with the muslin exposed at the rear gutter. Most of the text block is sound, although the gathering for pages 163-174 is slightly sprung. The rear flyleaf is a little off-center. Text is toned. Illustrated with black and white drawings. Complete with the Errata slip at the beginning of Section I.
