Paris: N.P. (no publisher), 1979. Limited edition, NF/NF. Book is a possible mock-up proposal for publishers to bid on? Prosed limitation is between 600-700 copies, which would be signed by both artist and poet. This is a pale orange French-fold (with gilt lettering of poet and artist on spine), over plain white stiff paper. Inside there are 29 four-page folded signatures with title page, inscribed and dated by poet (1981), colophon on verso, all 24 poems and 12 illustrations by Decaris, table of contents after text. Includes publicity photo, with photo of poet, three poems, 6 illustrations and possible title page. Also, two hand-written cards and two letters all sign in by Marc. There are two invitations to gallery shows for Decaris in 1979 and 1981, in Paris, two invitations to a . show(?) in Cannes in 1979, to meet the poet and artist, 2 periodical clippings concerning Decaris (no dates) and one concerning the book and poet, one pencil note, unsigned (but Marc's handwriting) with jottings concerning the book. What seems to have happened is that they tried to pre-subscribe the publication of this book, but there just were not enough people interested. It is an interesting example of how some books are proposed for publication, and why some succeed and others fail. All of it is in near fine condition with very few flaws.
