About the Author
MARK DEUTSCHMANN is a community builder who shapes his world and the way he engages in it. He has worked with neighbors, city leaders, and nonprofits for thirty years to grow Nashville, Tennessee, into a dynamic city. He is the founder of Village Real Estate Services and Core Development Services, the president of Greenways for Nashville, and the chair of Urban Land Institute Nashville. An accomplished juggler, Mark holds degrees in zoology and Spanish and an MBA in international management. He and his wife, Sherry, live in Nashville’s Hillsboro Village area.
