He signed as Prince Regent during the periods of illness suffered by his father, King George III (reigned 1760-1820). Henry Addington, Viscount Sidmouth (1757-1844), Prime Minister 1801-1804. He was home secretary 1812-21. Thomas Plunkett served with the Peninsular Army 1813-1814.
