Muldoon : The Solid Man of Sport

Hardcover / No jacket / Tan boards with black lettering / Narrow split at title page but binding is solid / Plates Intact / Square text block, sharp corners /Foreword by Jack Dempsey / Muldoon worked in the boxing world early 20th century /"His amazing story as related for the first time by him to his friend" / Laid in is list from a previous owner in which this title is described as "signed by 5 boxing greats" but we believe these to be facsimile: Of the 5 signatures on the front endpaper we can make out only Jack Dempsey / A signing in blue ink "William Muldoon November 1929" graces ppIII; however no bleed though none at all to ppIV so we are reluctant to name this a copy signed by the subject. It looks printed from here (could be dead wrong!) / Apparently not all copies of this title have Muldoon's signature.
