In the 1930's jobs moved from the farm to the factory. Today, work as we know it has migrated once again, only this time it's moved from the cube to the cloud. Those who embrace this new world of work will thrive. The rest will become extinct.
At the heart of The New World of Work: From the Cube to the Cloud are three powerful workforce trends: work has been fractionalized, careers have been virtualized, and talent has become globalized. If you've been struggling to find work, or find it difficult to secure the best talent for your company, then this book is for you. It is the map to a brave new world where companies compete for talent, and workers compete for jobs, globally.
With more than twenty years of individual leadership experience, Tim Houlne and Terri Maxwell have been at the forefront of a transformation that will reshape everything we know about careers and talent strategies.
