This copy has probably been bound for a library : there is a handwritten page bound in stating "A valuable series of archaeological tracts, mainly from the library of the late John Stuart LLD, Secretary of the society of Antiquaries of Edinburgh, and of the Spalding Club etc. etc etc 1878". After the title page, there is bound in a letter from the author offering four pamphlets to Rev. J. Woodward as a gifr. Several pages of illustrations of coins. Maroon leather spine, rubbed to extremities and maroon cloth laid on.
