A typed letter signed Oliver Lodge to Mrs. Mackail: It so happened that I read your letter today (after absence from home) immediately after I had read another one on the same subject from a Mrs. Pemberton. Judging from what you both day, it certainly looks as if I ought to see this man; and I have virtually offered to see him at my flat in London on the morning of the 10th November. That might or might not be sufficient or convenient; but at any rate it would save him the trouble of coming all the way down here. The letter is in very fine condition overall.
