SIGNED LIMITED EDITION; limited to 350 copies, this copy is #294 signed by French artist Leon Courbouleix; quarto; no date, but probably circa the 1930s or 1940s when Courbouleix was active; unnumbered loose sheets with color and black and white etchings; sheets are in cream wrapper with plate of Voltaire on front; marbled boards are protecting the leaves, but it appears that the slipcase is missing (?); marbled boards are in poor condition, held together by tape; minor staining to very extrems of pages, but no wear/markings to the plates themselves, which are protected by tissue guards. Text in French, translated from Turkish. Pasadena's finest new and used bookstore.
