A stand-alone title if just for the bibliography of first and rare editions of principal sporting books; however, over 100 plates are included as is list of artists and engravers. Burnt orange covers show signs of usual shelf wear and scuffing, but title lettering (and leaping horse with rider) still shining in gold, spine fading with top and bottom bumped as are corners. TEG with period blue and soft grey endpapers reproducing pages from by-gone titles. Back gutter loosening but still holding. Interior colors bright.
