Publisher's pictorial cloth stamped in gilt, TEG. Early reprint. Inscribed to the ffep "May Cody Decker/ 2932 Lafayette St, 1914 from Brother." May Cody Decker was the brother of "Buffalo Bill" Cody, who was the dedicatee of this book and wrote the forward. He died at May Cody Decker's house in Denver on Lafayette St. In January 1917. In 1964 this book was on display at Buffalo Bill's Scout Rest Ranch in North Platte, Nebraska by Russell Langford and remained on display for several years. Langford was a historian and great grandson of Russell H. Watts who was a neighbor and friend of Buffalo Bill in North Platte. Cloth well- rubbed, points bumped, hinges reinforced with cloth tape. Small sticker to fep with info on this book; laid in is a photocopy of a letter/receipt from the State of Nebraska Game, Forestation and Parks Commission, acknowledging receipt of this book and terms of display. 493pp plus ads. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 493 pages; Signed by Author.
