Image about 9-1/2 x 6-1/2 inches, matted. Fine. The tree is made into a violin, purchased by a poor woman as a Christmas present for her wheelchair-bound son. This is the most dramatic of Seredy's four illustrations for this story, showing the boy with his violin and his mother and their Christmas tree. Signed in pencil and captioned by the artist: ".he hugged the violin tightly against his heart." Accompanied by the issue of a Story Parade in which the story was published. Seller Inventory # 73900
