Reprint. Hardback in dustwrapper. 18.5 × 12.5cm, 316pp. Signed and dedicated by Ion Idriess to the title page. First published in 1937, this is Ion Idriess's book about life in the Kimberley region in Western Australia. Idriess records his experiences while accompanying a Nor'-west Mounted Police Patrol for twelve hundred miles through the Kimberleys, north of the Wunaamin-Miliwundi Ranges. Condition: Fair. The big issue is that this book was owned by a smoker and it has retained a tobacco smell (this should recede in time). The book remains in good readable condition, the pages clean but a little age-toned, and the binding secure. The dustwrapper is heavily chipped to the edges and has been price-clipped but is now within a protective sleeve. Seller Inventory # 015252
