An exceptionally early de Lint publication and an important association copy. Wollheim was the founder and publisher of DAW Books. The association is particularly noteworthy in this instance: the title story was subsequently selected for Arthur W. Saha's The Year's Best Fantasy Stories: 8, published by DAW Books in 1982. The story was later nominated for the 1983 Balrog Award for short fiction. Fine copy.
