About this Item
The dozens of films in which the popular English actor appeared between 1983 and 2023 are "The Killing Fields" (1984), "A Room with a View" (1985), "Arachnophobia" (1990) and "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" (2011); died tragically and mysteriously while hiking alone in the San Gabriel Mountains near Los Angeles. PS, heavy stock 3½" X 5½", n.p., n.y. Very good. Quite minor wear only. Candid black-and-white head-and-shoulders of a moody young Sands, signed large and bold in black ballpoint at lower right. Undated, but original envelope is present and is postally cancelled in England on 30 March 1989, making this a choice early example. Seller Inventory # 50309
