Synopsis:

Plantation Secrets is set on a Lousiana sugarcane plantation. It is rich with southern heritage. The plot is constantly twisting and turning, thus keeping the reader guessing. The first part of the novel explains the workings of a real sugarcane plantation. After a couple of chapters, a riviting twist is plunged into the story leaving the reader in shock. At this point, the reader will not be able to put the book down. The main character is a gay man that comes to live on the plantation. He has been tormented by the events that had plagued his life back East. He seeks to live a simplier life on the farm. However, a sugar baron and his family take this man to heart. Soon, they embrace him and take him down another road of affliction, including murder mystery, romance, and high drama. In addition, his brother sends his troubled gay adolescent son to live with him. Uncle and nephew forge a special relationship with the former giving guidance to the latter, while the latter stimulates courage in the former. This is a must read for anyone seeking an escape to a time period that captures the spirit of true american gay lore.
