Happy New Year!". A card with a poem titled "New Year's Eve 1933" by Tertius van Dyke with a 1958 Christmas Greeting from Betty van Dyke and a lengthy note from her on the reverse. The book is inscribed and signed on the front end-paper "Agnes Rix her book from Henry van Dyke her friend, Oct 23 1914". Dark blue covers with gilt decoration and lettering is lightly rubbed at the corners, sound binding although paper is split over rear internal hinge, remains of tape on inside front cover, clean pages.
