Poems ***SIGNED***

Possibly inscribed with a verse by author: E, I or J Capern has written a verse to Bessie Crease which is partly illegible. Another verse from the book has been written on FFEP at a later date. Name and signature on FFEP has been rubbed out, revealing boards underneath in two small places. Cover is a little worn and aged. Crown and base of spine worn and frayed. Pages remarkably clean. No foxing. Corners slightly rounded. Overall good+. Edward Capern credited on title page as the Rural Postman of Bideford, Devon, author of "Ballads and Songs.".
