Additionally SIGNED & INSCRIBED by the author on title page in black ink: "To John Nomland - best wishes - Harold Pinter". This is the 1971 SECOND EDITION, with ADDITIONAL POEMS. The first edition of this title was published in 1968 and limited to 200 copies, this second edition contains 9 additional poems, 6 of which are unpublished elsewhere, and is limited to only 100 copies. Contains 28 of Harold Pinter's poems, selected by Alan Clodd. Includes laid-in errata slip, which reads: "On page 22, the title of the poem should read 'JIG' and on page 41 in the third line from the bottom for 'climed' read 'climbed'". The Nobel Prize-winning author, Harold Pinter, has inscribed this copy to John Nomland, who was Librarian at University of Southern California and LA City College. With printed acknowledgements to Poetry Quarterly, Poetry London, New Poems 1957, The Twentieth Century, The Window, The Glass, The Observer, and The Times Literary Supplement, where some of the poems first appeared. Printed in Great Britain by Compton Press, Salisbury. Bound in publisher's original red cloth backed by quarter black morocco spine with bright gilt lettering, top edge gilt, in clear unprinted acetate dustjacket, as issued. A FINE very nice clean tight solid hardcover copy. Tight hinges, appears to be unopened (or unread). 43pp. Scarce signed copy. RARE inscribed.
