Photographic poster measuring 20 by 30 inches; framed, entire piece measures 25-1/2 by 35-1/2 inches. $7500.Original publisher's promotional poster for the photobook Muhammad Ali Memories, boldly signed by Ali in gold ink on the image.After the succes of the 1991 biography of Muhammed Ali, Muhammad Ali His Life and Times, which was nominated for the a National Book Award; the co-author Thomas Hauser teamed up with famed Ali photographer Neil Leifer to produce the 1992 photobook Muhammad Ali Memories, which traces Ali's career through the work of the famed sports photographer. The front cover photograph of Ali by Leifer was used for the promotional poster and was signed by Ali in the presence of Hauser. With a certificate of authenticity signed by Hauser stating that Ali signed the poster in his presence, and a copy of the shipping label used to send the promotional poster to Hauser from the publisher, Rizzoli International Publications.Fine condition.
